Fran has many years of experience in the field of orthopaedics, trauma and musculoskeletal outpatients having had senior roles in Consultant led orthopaedic and A&E clinics at major teaching hospitals across the West Midlands.

 

Fran relocated to Thanet from Warwickshire, where she worked at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in an extremely fast paced out patient department at Warwick and Stratford Hospitals, with sessions at local GP surgeries, treating a huge variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions to include all pre and post operative orthopaedic trauma and elective surgical cases.

 

Fran is a qualified Pilates instructor having completed the APPI Pilates training enabling her to teach in the class environment or on a one to one basis.

 

Fran is an AACP qualified acupuncturist providing her with an invaluable adjunct to her treatment repertoire.

Fran has qualified in Pre Hospital Immediate Care in Sports (PHICIS Level 2) and is the Physiotherapist at Thanet Wanders Rugby Union Football Club in Broadstairs covering physiotherapy treatment for training sessions mid-week and
pitch side cover for matches.

 

Fran treats on a Monday and Thursday at Hawley Health Centre, Margate (link to their website) from 8:30am to 6:30pm.

 

The remainder or Fran's time is spent treating patients in their homes, providing a service for those who are either unable to reach the clinic or who prefer the home environment for their treatment.
